Rookie Racing - Saturday 23rd Sep @14:00

After our summer break from Sailing Pathway events, we are pleased to announce the return of Rookie Racing (RR) for Autumn 2023, which will run alongside the SSOS dates, as usual.

Our first RR session will be this Saturday 23rd September, starting at 14:00.

For those of you who missed Rookie Racing in the Spring, these events are aimed at sailors (including youth sailors) who have either just started, or wish to start, racing. It will provide an overview of starting and race courses you will encounter at Weston. It is not aimed at experienced, or regular, Weston racers.

As for the RR Spring events, on Saturday 23rd we will run a short rules and starting/course refresher for the first hour and then aim to be on the water for 16:00. High Water is around 17:00, giving us over an hour to gain some practical experience.
