  Rock up and Race / Wing Boarding

• All Members - Help Required

  Dear All members, As you will be aware, the club suffered a fire a fortnight ago, which completely gutted the ground floor storage room under the race box. It also caused smoke damage to the race box itself, meaning that it cannot be used at this time. We have today put in place a temporary solution to allow club racing to continue. • URGENT : Club security

  To ALL members Due to unwanted visitors in the field adjacent to the club, it is imperative that the pound and clubhouse is kept locked and secured at all times. Southampton City Council have been made aware of situation and that the locked gate to the field has been broken to gain access.   All members, While there is no single, explicit statute in the UK that says " all clubs must collect emergency contact details" there is a strong legal and duty of care requirement to have them in practice, particularly for activities involving risk or children. • 18-19 April - Cup Weekend - 18ft Skiffs - Cat demo

  The March Cup last weekend was a little frisky, as predicted thanks to storm Dave, but great sailing for those that braved the elements. Our next event is the April Cup, 6 races over 2 days, but with a couple of added attractions. The weekend will also host a Catamaran demo event in conjunction with the UKCRA.   Hi All members, It's March cup weekend this weekend, with lights winds and sunny forecast. Come and join the racing or just get afloat and enjoy the lovely spring weather. • Joyriders / Boy racers at Netley

  To all members. The club has been contacted by residents of Netley with regards to joyriders/ boy racers using the area just outside the clubs main entrance as a meeting point in the evenings and at weekends. They are working with the local council and police to deal with this nuisance. The club has been contacted to make sure that the gates are always locked and the pound secured when there
