Sailwave Training - Sunday 11th June

As you may be aware from our March email, there is now a dedicated RO/ARO laptop in the Race Box for entering Race results into Sailwave as soon as possible after a Race has finished. Full log on instructions are in the RO guidance and printed Sailwave instructions next to the laptop. We would like the Race Box team to enter race results into Sailwave so that results are available quickly and we don't have to rely on the availability of a small number of members to produce results.

We now have experience of using this approach for the Spring Series and recent Cup events. The results have been mixed. In some cases, provisional results were complete within 30 minutes of the last finisher, whereas in others, Race Box teams lacked the confidence to enter results in Sailwave or encountered difficulties in adding new competitors, or entering times or scoring codes in the right format.

We are therefore planning on running a Sailwave training session at 2pm on Sunday 11th June. That is before the Evening Series Racing that starts at 16:45
